6/6/09 - what's new
things looking somewhat better. got rid of my sh*t tenant, suing him for $20K (that's britpounds 12,520 or au$25,220), not that i really expect to ever see a dime of that...
started a summer job today that looks to be a lot of fun - working friday through monday in the concession stand at a nearby state park on a freshwater lake; today saw a mother mallard and her eight babies swimming past, then heard a pair of loons calling. they swam past a bit later.
still hoping to hear about a teaching post for next fall and have applied across northern new england. i hope very much that i won't have to move AGAIN... at least i haven't been told 'no' at the local high school for the spot teaching french.
so maybe things are on the upswing. i sure hope so! :)
